Tommy attended St. Ann Catholic School for Pre-K through 8th grade and Cardinal Newman for high school. He loved all animals and those in need often became beloved family pets. He leaves behind a dog, Nina and Cali and Ralph, he and Codie’s dear cats.
He was a Boy Scout where he forged a love of the outdoors and all the skills to have a great adventure. He was proud to be the bass player in his middle school jazz band and won awards for his playing, fueling a lifelong love of music. Tommy was a self proclaimed waterman and could be found out on the water any given day finding peace casting a line or surfing. The first time Tommy stood up on a surf board he was 4 years old and at David Reese’s beach house near Reef Road. It became a favorite surf spot and meeting place with family and friends on Sundays. He traveled to Costa Rica and El Salvador to surf and fell in love with the land and people. His passions included fishing, surfing, skateboarding and enjoying time with his friends.
In 2021, Tommy married the love of his life, Codie Weimer. In Codie, Tommy found home and someone who could match his passion and love all of him. Though they had only 4 years together, love cannot be measured, they lived a lifetime of love in those 4 years.
In the past year he had formed his own business, Cleary Concierge Services, serving the Palm Beaches with home maintenance, car transport services, storm preparation and various other services gained from years of experience in the concierge industry. He proudly worked with Troy Prevost, the Sailfish Club and Palm Beach Yacht Club as a valet. He loved meeting new people and could strike up a conversation with anyone from any walk of life.
He is survived by his wife, Codie Cleary (Weimer), his parents, Debra and Thomas Cleary, sister Jennifer (Thiago), brother Chris, grandmother Martha Cleary, niece Sienna, aunts, uncles, many cousins and countless friends.
Tommy was a true friend. He wanted people to know that he had their backs and was always rooting for them, “Bros checking on Bros.” Tommy lit up any room, his presence will be missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of life for Tommy will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417, with a celebration of life service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
