Dear Andy and Jean: 
We were very saddened to learn of the loss of your mother.  Please accept our condolences and know that we care about you and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Arthur Wozniak, Mary’s Cousin and my dad, often spoke of his luncheons with Mary and Dorothy Lewandowski. The trio was able to share memories, laughs and food. Dad often shared how much he enjoyed and anticipated the company and the memories.  I even got to join one of the luncheons for a wonderful time. 

As Mark Wozniak said, Aunt Agnes helped us after our mother passed suddenly and our youngest brother was only 14 months old. Aunt Agnes’s help, love and wisdom were needed and greatly appreciated at a very difficult time for our family. It was very apparent that Mary was very much like her mother in many ways. 

My condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you all. 
Thank you for the love and support from Mary. I know that Dad appreciated her company and the good memories. Love to all.

I remember visiting most summers when I was little. We would all stay at their house and play. Much later I came with piles of snow on the ground to introduce my daughter to her grand-aunt and cousins. It was always a happy time when we saw Mary, and both Alysa and I will miss her.

Mary was the kind of friend you could only hope to find.  Our journey began when we met as volunteers at Hospice.  She enjoyed life to the fullest.  Just a few years back, we celebrated Valentine's Day in Detroit attending a Soul Jam.  Most importantly, Mary was a caring and down-to-earth human being.  She was a TRUE friend, and I will miss her deeply.

Mary was my dad Art Wozniak’s cousin, their fathers Tony and Steve were brothers. Art died of Covid four years ago at age 97, but before his health declined he would frequently meet Mary and another Wozniak cousin, Dorothy Lewandowski, for lunch to enjoy their company and reminisce. He spoke fondly of those gatherings.

Also, Art was widowed in 1966, with three kids, my sister, me, and my 14 month old brother. Mary’s mom, Aunt Agnes, recently widowed herself, came over to help care for our family for several months, a kindness we’ll never forget.

May they rest in peace.

The entire Choinski clan extends condolences to all  of the Malinowskis.  I have such fond memories of Mary going back over 60 years, all the way back to Brinkman St.  May her memory be a blessing.
