Cecile B. Searle

Cecile Brevelle Searle, age 91, passed away February 27, 2013 in West Valley City, Utah.

Cecile was born February 9, 1922 in Cloutierville, LA to Julian Brevelle and Ezzie Roberts. She married Samuel “Red” Rydalch on August 1, 1953 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church. She loved going to the Temple with her Wonderful Husband, Philo. Her life was filled with dancing, singing, family, friends and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She loved to dance and sing, she would go dancing every week, and even met her Sweetheart, Philo on the dance floor.

She would perform in the Senior Singing Group known as the “Noteable” Angels. Cile was an amazing cook, and her kitchen was always open. Cile had a deep love for her family and was happiest being with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We honor and praise her example, her love, and her selfless service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her loving husband, Philo Searle; children, Doug (Joan) of Woodcross, Rick of Salt Lake, Kim (Todd) of West Valley City, Nola (Kevin) of Houston and Tony (Tanya) of Monroe. She is also survived by her sisters, Annie and Ernestine; loved and adored by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel “Red” Rydalch and son, Nowell; sisters, Marie, Loretta and Bessie; brothers, JW and Newton.

Funeral Services for Cile will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2:00 at the Kearns 5th Ward located at 4260 W. 5215 So. The family will receive friends at a visitation Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 So.; and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the Ward. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
