Connie Jean Capson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Connie Jean Capson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on October 10, 2024, at the age of 66. She was surrounded by her children in her final moments, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength.

Connie Jean was born on August 14 1958 in Salt Lake City to Norma and Marlow Walton. She grew up in Magna and later made her home in West Jordan where she raised her family. She was known for her unwavering love for her children and grandchildren. She had a kind soul, always ready to offer a listening ear or a comforting word. Her humor and friendship brought joy to all who knew her.

Her strength and resilience were evident in the way she faced life’s challenges, always with grace and compassion. Her home was a place of comfort and refuge, and her family and friends were always the center of her world. She enjoyed gardening, had immense love for animals, was a talented artist, and a skilled fly fisherman.

Connie Capson is survived by her children, James, Ambra and Michelle Capson. Grandchildren, Shawn Capson, Jaden and Maxx Weeks and Ambrose Anderson. As well as numerous extended family members and dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her son; Shawn Capson, brothers; Randy Walton and Robert Higley; nephew; Dillon Walton, parents; Norma Glispy and Marlow Walton.
