Dolores Rose

She married Roy Moody and they had four children together and later divorced. She married Robert Rose on September 30, 1978 and enjoyed 39 1/2 years together before her passing.

Dolores is survived by her children Steve (Trish) Moody, Fernley, Nevada; Darryl (Chris) Moody, West Valley, Utah; Stacy (Scott) Hyden, Battle Mountain, Nevada; Her sister, Gloria Prentiss, North Carolina; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Linda Moody and grandson, Casey Moody.

Dolores had a love of hunting and fishing and all things outdoors at her cabin in the Beaver Mountains. She loved to cook and entertain for family and friends on holidays and was always laughing and the life of the party.

She was very loved and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Thursday, March 29 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home located on 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
