

Donna May (Lefevre) Watts peacefully passed away Friday, March 31st, 2023, at 90. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Donna was born on May 8th, 1932, in Panguitch, Utah, to Hannah Beatrice LeFevre and Ernest Timothy Lefevre. She was the youngest of eight children and often played on Pig Weed Hill with her nieces and nephews because most of her siblings were already grown up. Donna moved to Salt Lake City when she was 11. She graduated from Granite High School in 1950. Donna was a switchboard telephone operator at the University Hospital and Mountain Bell. She later became a Toll Investigator for US West. As a single mom, Donna raised her four kids on her own. She moved to Idaho to live with her daughter later in life. Grandma Donna set an example to those around her to lead with love, kindness, and dignity. She was always there for her family and never failed to brighten someone's day. Donna enjoyed crossword puzzles and word games. She read many self-help books and always cited songs, poems, and motivational quotes. She loved wildflowers, sunshine, and being around her loved ones. She will be incredibly missed.
She leaves behind her children, Gordon (Sue) Watts, Lori (Larry) Halstenrud, Tracy (Jamie) Watts, Robyn (Jeffrey) Hine, twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, Two great-great-grandchildren (1-more on the way), and her sister Melba Nielson. Her parents, brothers, sisters, and two great-great-grandchildren, Angel and Heaven, preceded her in death.
A memorial and graveside service will be held on Monday, May 8th, from 11 am to 1 pm at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah 84106.
