Eric was born April 7, 1967 in San Gabriel, CA to Larry L. Briggs and Mary Louise Estes. He graduated from Alta High School. Eric was a big man with a big heart, he saved many lives over his fifteen years of employment at ARUP of Salt Lake City. He leaves behind many friends and a loving family. He loved discovering nature, fishing and camping. Eric is survived by his loving parents, Larry Briggs and Mary Estes; sister, Sundee (Charles) Broadwick; nephews and nieces, Kevin, Tyler and Brian Briggs; Matthew, Michael and Katelyn Broadwick. He is preceded in death by his brother, Duane Loyd Briggs.
