

Erlinda Marie Johnson Lujan, our beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her community, peacefully departed for Heaven on October 2, 2023, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joyful memories will forever remain etched in our hearts.
Erlinda dedicated her entire life to her family, embracing this role with unwavering devotion until her final breath. She may have been petite in stature, but her heart was the largest of all. Her love knew no boundaries, and she was a constant source of comfort and encouragement in times of need. Her cooking talents brought happiness to her family, as her kitchen was always filled with laughter, love, and the mouthwatering aroma of her delicious creations.
As a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Magna, Erlinda's faith was integral to her life. She was also a dedicated teacher for many years, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those she touched.
Erlinda is survived by her loving children: Ernie, Rita (Cathy), Tommy (Susan), Anthony, and Chardannae (Jesus); her adoring grandchildren: Sheryl (Jason), Jennifer, Joseph, Mya, Josh Lujan, Autumn, and Ashley Penny; one brother, two sisters, numerous nephews and nieces, and great-grandchildren: Rider, Ryden, Mason, Tosho, Anthony, and Sito.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe F. Lujan, her grandmother Cruz Cordova, Parents; Juan Johnson and Lily Cordova, Siblings; Cora Johnson Lujan, Elias Johnson, and Adonice Morfin, and granddaughter, Angel Garcia.
A Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 10th, at 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian. Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 11th, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, located at 2840 S. 9000 W. in Magna, UT. Erlinda will be laid to rest at the Valley View Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT.
Erlinda M. Lujan's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will be fondly remembered for her unwavering love, warmth, and grace. May she rest in eternal peace.
