Eugene James Kone, age 91, passed away December 18, 2011 in Magna, Utah.
He was born November 27, 1920 in New Jersey to Eugene and Phoebe Kone. He married Ramona Thompson on April 26, 1947. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church. He enjoyed bowling, music, watching t.v. and he loved his candy. He was a very loving man, he loved his wife very much and adored his 10 children. He is survived by his wife, Ramona; children, Mike (Jan) Kone, Laura (Ernest) Garcia, Pat (Rose) Kone, Danny Kone, Diane (Larry) Greenhalgh, Scott (Myrlene) Kone, Wendy (Eugene) Phillips and Jeff (Robyn) Kone; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Beatrice and Kathryn; two sons, Ricky and Brent Kone.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation Wednesday morning prior to the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
