Age: 52 Born to Floyd W Freeman Jr. and Gina Olivas-Freeman in San Jose, California on April 19, 1965. We moved to Tooele, Utah where he graduated and then moved to Grantsville and purchased a house with horses. He has returned to our Lord in Heaven, August 18, 2017 after transplant complications.
A mother should never have to bury their child. He left a son, Brandon J. Freeman and a unborn grandchild and his brother Robert, and his sister, ReGina and a niece and nephews who he loved very much. Trey did not want any more agony and was ready to go home to Christ and family which will meet him with open arms. He was so sick, frustrated and depressed because all he had enjoyed had come to an end. He loved horseback riding, Rodeo competitions, shy jumping, demolition derbies, and above all he loved his motorcycles which he learned to ride at nine years old and skiing most of his life and was unable to do these things after multiple surgeries. Trey became an excellent Web designer and a Microsoft Computer Associate. But he had been so ill he could not sit long enough to work anymore. The pain was too much anymore. His doctors were adamant that he could no longer work. He loved to fish and the country sites. He was deemed disabled. He was losing his sight and was very tired and extremely emotionally broken and was in and out of hospitals most of his life. He graduated from Tooele High School and studied technology, Religion, Space and tried to teach himself everything he could. He was every inquisitive and very intelligent when it came to his studies. He married Danica Stam in 2010 who was estranged for months prior to his death. No one could fill that emptiness in his life of living his life to the fullest. His mother Gina and stepfather Chris Bjerke and family members stood by his side and tried to help him get through it, but he was so sick and his heart, body, and soul was tired and had insomnia so bad and doctors were unable to give him anything to help him. Because he was on so much medications as it was. He had been on chemo and his SSI cost were barely paying for his medications, and he was not used to this as he went from high wages to SSI and that was very hard on him, after hospitals and doctors.
As a family we made sure he had them. He fought a very hard long struggle, but it just was to hard anymore. He was prepared and blessed. He was cremated as that was his wish. He ashes will be spread in places he loved, with people and friends he loved at a later date not yet determined, as he has out of state family coming. I want to Thank all those that have helped us get through this. Especially Guy and Diane Nielson and Natalie which have been so involved and has helped me get through this. “We Love You Trey for Eternity, until we are together again” I want to Thank Rachel at Valley View Funeral Home and the staff in West Valley City for being so helpful and kind.
Love Always, Mom and all the Family – Rest Now my Heart we’ll be together again.
“Even though I Walk through The Valley of Death, I will fear no Evil, for You are with me; Your Rod and your Staff Comfort Me” – Psalm 23:4
~Eternal Rest grant unto them, O Lord, Let perpetual light shine upon them. May They Rest In Peace~. Amen
