Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend died 09/27/2023 in Murray, Utah, due to a tragic accident.
Son of Elmer Barney and Shirley (Sadie) Matthews.
He is survived by his Mother: Sadie Matthews: Brothers: Allen and Scott; Sisters: LeAnn and Brenda; Daughters: Tamra and Ameila; Cousin: Rick; and 2 grandchildren.
Glade was a dedicated truck driver for many years, enjoying the solitude of being on the road. He had a special love for animals, often liking them more than people. He loved his pugs Missy and Bozley, and fed them an entire rotisserie chicken daily. He loved to collect coins and spend time with his grandchildren. He had an amazing personality, very funny and witty. He could make you cry and laugh all in one sentence. He will be greatly missed.
A special thanks to IHC for taking amazing care of him.
There will be a Celebration of Life in the near future , planning for that will come some time in December.
