She was born on July 10, 1951, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Helen lived a life centered on love, family, and quiet devotion to those closest to her.
Helen is survived by her loving husband, Andrew Christensen; her sons, Timothy (January), Chris (Tina), and Robert Christensen; her grandchildren, Alexander Christensen, Saydi Christensen, and Tristan Krebs; and her great-grandchildren, Waylon, Saylor, Bridger Christensen, and Jaxsyn Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vertus “Whitey” and Helen Kvenvold.
Sis was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She spent much of her time as a stay-at-home grandmother, creating a warm and welcoming home. She loved tending to her pets, working in her garden, and cherishing moments with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and expressing her creativity through arts and crafts.
Her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service for Helen will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 11:00 am at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 W 5215 S, Kearns, Utah. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
