Jody was born on January 29, 1954 in Salt Lake City to Shirley and Robert Sanders. She graduated from Granger High. She married Allen Peterson on October 14, 1976. Jody is survived by her loving husband, Allen; son, Robert (Jennifer) Peterson; grandchildren, Taylor and Justin Peterson; siblings, Dianne (Wayland) Starks, Pat Sanders, Cindy (Charlie) Huggard and Gordon (Lezlie) Sanders. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Robert Sanders.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Valley View Memorial Park located at 4400 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a Visitation Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
