Married, Mary Lou Briggs, September 28, 1950, she preceded him in death, November 7, 1986.
He lived and worked in Rexburg Idaho, until he became an owner operator for FB Truck Lines in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1971, he moved on to become a Teamster and worked for PIE Tank Division and Matlack until he retired from Local 222 in 1995.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Karen & Dave Rollo, Linda Archibald, Janet & Jerry Maldonado, Brenda Breitigam, Barbara Jo & Doug Ostberg; grandchildren, Jodi, Brandon, Christa, Heidye, Danny, Derik, Carrie, Amanda, Ashley Ann, and Jerad; great-grandchildren, Sean, Blake, Curtis, Cullen, Dixee, Tyler, Cheyenne, Zachree, Reno, Zachary, Zoee, Anders, Juliet and Harper, brother and sister-in-law, Noel & Billie Archibald. Preceded in death by his son, Richard L Archibald.
Services will be held Saturday July 8, 2017, at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley Utah, viewing 10:00 a.m., graveside service 11:00 a.m. Internment Valley View Memorial Park.
