Marsha was born in 1955 in Price, Utah to Maurice and Velda Nay. She grew up amidst the rugged beauty of Price, finding her sense of adventure in the desert hills that surrounded her. This adventurous spirit stayed with her throughout her life, turning even the simplest moments into memorable escapades.
After college, Marsha embarked on her next great adventure in Salt Lake City, where she started a family and raised her children. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she took immense pride in her children and grandchildren. Marsha never missed an opportunity to brag or share stories of their accomplishments.
Marsha was a skilled seamstress and quilter from a young age, making her own outfits by the time she reached High School. She went on to perfect her craft, making countless quilts, dresses, outfits, and so much more! Marsha was not only a talented seamstress, but also a selfless one. Anyone who was lucky enough to have Marsha in their life has some home crafted item she sewed or quilted for them. Her legacy lives on through these treasured gifts!
Marsha was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many service positions. Her most cherished memories of these times was serving children through her role as a Primary Teacher. She was fiercely devoted to the children she taught and rarely missed a Sunday.
But perhaps Marsha's most remarkable quality was her ability to befriend anyone she met. She had an authentic warmth that made everyone she met feel like family. In her passing, she takes with her a piece of each heart she touched.
She is survived by her children, Nathan (Stephanie), Rebecca (Jared), Wayne (Maggie) and Kaylyn; Her grandchildren Mykah, Madilyn, Cierra, Grant, and Jane; As well as her siblings, Allen (Dona), Cheryl (Kelly), David (Tammy) and D’On (Craig). She is preceded in death by her parents, Velda and Maurice, and her sister in-law Dona.
