Mary Ann Wright

Mary Ann was born in North Carolina on May 4, 1941. She was the oldest of seven children. She married Jess E. Wright, the love of her life, on June 16, 1961. They had three children, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mary Ann had many talents and passions. She loved to crochet, garden, play cards, watch movies, cook and sing. Mary Ann was very devoted to her church work and loved serving the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dorothy Hicks. She is survived by her husband, Jess E. Wright; children, Ed (Norma), Richard (Debra), Erin Winkler (Don); grandchildren, Matthew (Christina), Megan Gilbert (Greg), Mindy, Jessica Underhill (Jesse), Chase, Mitchell, Codi, and Jacob; great grandchildren Janessa, Hayden, Mason, and a sweet little one on the way; and her fur baby CC.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oxford Ward Church, 3671 Oldham Street (4180 West), West Valley City. Viewings will be held Sunday, September 25th at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
