Throughout her life she was a classy woman and always took great care of herself. She liked to dress nice even for little things such as a doctor appointment.
She left Koosharem to stay with her sister in Garfield, Utah. She attended a New Years Eve dance where she met her one and only soulmate, Milo Wade. They were married on April 24, 1953 and were inseparable for nearly 73 years before dad's passing. She gave birth to 5 amazing children, who always felt accepted, loved, and protected by their sweet mom. 21 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren (one on the way), 9 great-great grandchildren who were all her world and many many more accepted and loved!!
Mom was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a special gift caring for the children. She served in primary, she sang in the choir and always had a beautiful voice. She also enjoyed her visiting teaching role with her daughter, Sheila.
Mom also served as PTA President and was very involved in her children's lives. She was a shining example of a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Anyone who came to her home always felt welcomed with a soda, candy, and many many hugs. That's just the way it was at grandma's house!!
