Phyllis and family,
     My deepest sympathy to you. I met Max over a year ago at the Magna Senior Center. He was quite the pool shooter. I received some good pointers from him. Yes, he indeed had a sense of humor. May God bless you all.

Thanks for all the great memories Uncle Max! I am so glad that mom, dad, Jamie and I had the chance to visit you in Salt Lake a few years back! I will miss your laughter and goofiness!

Uncle Max was a very special Uncle to me, the silly, wild & crazy Uncle. I can still hear his laugh and see his wonderful smile. 

Traveling to Rigby to visit my grandparents in the summer, I remember asking is Uncle Max and Uncle Blair coming? And Aunt Phyllis and Aunt Afton? Will we see Aunt Marcene? Can we ride our bikes to Uncle Ted and Aunt Gay's? And all the cousins too! My wonderful summers in Rigby will always remain one of my very fondest childhood memories. And the stories that dad would tell us of Max as a child. Nuts! 

I last saw Max & Phyllis in July 2011, my dad's last trip to Rigby & Salt Lake to see his brothers. I wished we could have brought him one more time, but the Alzheimer's which has overtaken him makes travel difficult.

Sending love and hugs to all my family in Salt Lake, Utah, Idaho and those traveling from afar. I will be there in spirit to say good-bye to Uncle Max.

I will remember you always Uncle Max and look forward to the day I will see your fabulous smile and hear your laughter again. xoxo

 Max we loved you for your ability to make us laugh at you and with you! Our children called you the "Goofy" uncle and loved the annual trips to Rigby to enjoy the family reunions, fishing and fun.
  Aldon, even with his Alzheimer's sobbed when told of your passing.  We spent time talking to him  about all the good times and he seemed to be comforted. If only this horrible disease had not robbed him of his speech I am sure he could have "artfully" expounded on the adventures and escapades of the Anderson boys!
  RIP dear Max we love you. We pray for comfort and peace for Phyllis and  family.

May you continue to shine from above... Goodbye for now...
