Michael Turner Mabey

Michael was born April 28, 1953, the son of Charles Rex and Catherine Hartley Mabey.

Michael proudly served his Country in the Marine Corp, being stationed in Okinawa and serving in the Military Police in the Army National Guard during operation Desert Storm. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Michael worked for the shuttle service at the Salt Lake City Airport and for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Some of Michael’s favorite hobbies included doing puzzles and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and creating many memories at the family reunions.

The family would like to thank Canyon Hospice, City Creek Post Acute Care and the VA Hospital for all their loving care of Michael.

Survived by his children Allan Michael (January) Mabey; Randy Lee Mabey and Kyle Lynn Mabey and 4 grandchildren. Michael is also survived by his siblings: Brian (Linda) Mabey; Keith Bishop; Dennis (Christy) Mabey; Gary (Brenda) Mabey; Annette (Dave) Anderson and Karen (Peter) Kuhn.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Michael’s wishes were to be cremated. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley City, UT.
