She was born February 23, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clarence Dee Hadley and Bessie Faye Neville. She graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City.
She married Walter Fisher; they had two daughters Pat and Sharon, they later divorced. She married Walter Hauser on November 7, 1948, in Elko, Nevada they had one daughter Debbie and three sons Glenn, Craig and Mark. Myrtle and Walter were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple.
Myrtle was an animal lover. She raised an assortment of dogs, cats, and birds. Over the years some of her favorite dogs were Pierre, Shelly, Princess, Tank and about 8 'Pennies' (her beloved apricot poodles).
Myrtle was a true example of a homemaker, she loved a clean house and preparing meals for her family. The family looked forward to the roast beef dinners on Sundays, her homemade rolls, lemon meringue pies and a variety of other delicious foods she prepared.
Family was the most important thing to Myrtle, she helped create fun memories with her family throughout the years, including traveling, going to Lagoon and Disneyland.
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter; and two daughters: Patricia Ann Meyers and Sharon Thelma Dennis; siblings: Lavon (Grant) Ferguson, Lorna (Ralph) Faulkner, Dee Hadley, Thelma Hadley, and Marvin Hadley, and grandchildren: Sheree Meyers and Michael John Eccles.
Survived by her children: Glenn Robert (Annette) Hauser, Debbie Martin, Craig Leon Hauser and Mark Deewayne Hauser, 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dennis Keyes and his team with Intermountain Hospice: Nuvia Fajardo, Shelli Eller, Dr. Stephan B. Smith and Amber Hammond. They would also like to express deep gratitude for Greg Ballard and Doug Jensen with Valley View Funeral Home for the respect given to their mother when leaving her home.
Services will be held at on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City. A viewing will take place on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park.
