Patsy Virginia Tuttle Sorensen

Our sweet and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully in her sleep January 4, 2014 surrounded by her family. Pat attended North Sanpete High School, Salt Lake Community College, and Weber State University obtaining a degree in nursing. She worked at Pioneer Valley Hospital in Labor and Delivery and as an OR Supervisor for over 25 years. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many capacities. She served as a Relief Society President with 3 separate Bishops. She enjoyed temple work, and served as an ordinance worker as well as doing sealings for over 26 years. She also served as a volunteer at the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Museum. She is survived by her husband Glenn, sons Matthew (Amy), Jeffery (Faun), Christopher (Melva), grandchildren Brent (M’recia), Zachary, Samantha, Kayleigh, Stephanie (Mikhail), Ashleigh, Sydney, and three great grandchildren Conner James, Patrick, and Rylee Ann, and many inherited great grandchildren and even several great great grandchildren through Chris’ second marriage.

Visitation will be held at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W 4100 S, WVC, Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 6:30-8:00 pm, Visitation and funeral services will be held Friday January 9, 2015 at the Hunter 2nd Ward, 3970 S 5200 W, WVC, Visitation 8:30-9:30 am, funeral service 10:00-11:00 am. with interment at Mt Pleasant City Cemetery at 2:30 pm. www.valleyviewfuneral.com
