Roger Lynn Daniels, age 77, passed away October 17, 2019 in West Jordan, Utah. He was born on September 4, 1942 in San Francisco, California to Theodore Roy Daniels and Dorothy Lucille Studebaker. He married Margaret Griffiths on January 13, 1967 in Beaver, Utah. Roger and Margaret were sealed for time and all eternity in September of 1969.
Roger had a love for many things. He loved movies, football, reading, traveling, old cars and anything western. He had a special love for dogs and always had a few around. He loved his Marines, Hank Williams and an Old Fashion or San Miguel once in a while. He loved to eat anything, it could be peanut butter and miracle whip muffins, spam sandwiches or liver and onions and we can never forget the Heinz 57. We will miss the things he always said like “Close that door!”, “Vacuum the floor!”, and “Jim’s sounds good.”
While he loved many things his favorite were the babies. There was never a time he sat in his chair without a kid on his lap. He was a wonderful man who loved his family. We will forever remember and miss him.
Roger is survived by his wife, Margaret and his children Wendy (Jeff) Powell, Tammy (Nick) Gustaveson, Kelly (Kim) Daniels, Pete Daniels, Tyler (Amy) Daniels, Troy (Cindy) Daniels, Gary Daniels, Travis Daniels, and Malynda (Joe) Richards; his siblings Patricia Hinton and David Daniels; 24 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ted Daniels and Lucille Chamberlain; sister Peggy Chamberlain, and brothers Todd Chamberlain, Mike Daniels, and Gordon Chamberlain.
