Stefana enjoyed playing sports from the time she was a youth and throughout her young adult life. She continued her competitive spirit for sports as a parent and coach to her two children. She was always ready to cheer on her children in life and never missed their games. Throughout her life she carried a deep affection for her furry friends of all kinds. Her independent and lively spirit propelled her into her entrepreneurship with SALS Pizza and her courier business just to name a few. She enjoyed many summers in the sun fishing at Silver Lake with her family. Stef will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit and greatly missed by all.
Stefana is survived by her husband, David J. Vasko; her daughter Alexandria Garcia; and her son Julio Garcia; her mother Julia Corral; her brother Michael (Jennifer) Garcia and her sister Connie Jo Garcia (Don); her grandson Julian Garcia and her granddaughter Ezri Garcia.
Stefana was preceded in death by her father Lawrence O. Garcia and her brother Chris Garcia.
A viewing / rosary service for Stefana will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Valley View Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT 84120. A funeral mass will occur Friday, July 11, 2025 starting at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 257 N 700 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84116.
