“If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on, now
‘Cause there’s too many places
I’ve got to see.”

Lynyrd Skynyrd
Steven Arnold Tattersall was born July 3rd, 1958 in Salt Lake City and passed away in his sleep in the early morning hours of February 5th, 2011.
Steve loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. He loved animals, from salamanders to snakes, from ferrets to dogs, and everything in between (especially barking spiders!). He was very compassionate to animals and people alike, and the word “no” was not one he used very often.
He was very creative and very good with his hands, leaving behind pottery, word-working and jewelry for his family to remember him by. He was a carpenter by trade and there are many buildings in the Salt Lake area with his work inside and out.
Steve is survived by his daughters Nicole, Carrie (Tony) and Stevie (Dan), brother Dave (April), sisters Raelynn (Darol) and Jacqueline, best friend Jasper, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at the Valley View Funeral Home at 4335 West 4100 South in West Valley on February 11, 2011 from 6pm – 8pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Utah Humane Society in Steve’s name.
Condolences may be sent to the family @valleyviewfuneral.com.
