Carolina Mitchell

Carolina Mitchell, our loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and dear friend entered into the kingdom of heaven on February 28, 2012. Carolina is survived by her loving husband, Rey, son, Daniel, and sister to Pedro (Martina), Theresa (Ray), Paul (Alejandra), Janet (Gilbert), Sandy (Steve) Tony (Sandra), Letticia (Mark) and numerous nieces & nephews.

Carolina earned her BA in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University and began her Human Resources career with Dayton Hudson in 1992. Her most recent Human Resources position was with the SCI Western Market Support Center.

Carolina’s special gifts would light up a room whenever she entered and she immediately positively impacted all those she came in contact with. She had a joyful infectious laugh and all those that were fortunate enough to interact with her always came away with positive thoughts of Carolina.

She enjoyed her time with family and friends and always took that extra time for both her personal family and her work family. She always took the extra step and always made time to listen to those that sought her advice. It did not matter if it was a work issue or a family personal issue. She served as a mentor and a role model for her extended family. Her tremendous courage, faith, tenacity, warmth, dignity, and strength is an example of this truly remarkable woman.

Carolina was a gift from God and she will be greatly missed by her extended family. We can be consoled by the fact she will no longer be in pain and currently resides with the heavenly father. Rest in peace dear Carolina, we love you.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 at 10:00 am with a reception to follow at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California. Arrangements under the direction of Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd. Westminster, CA 92683. (714) 893-2421
