I miss the laughter...in your gut out loud laughing 😂...

Went to a classical music piano concert at Renee Segerstrom at Costa Mesa, one of Chris’s favorite things to do.

Chris was someone that made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. He was one of the most knowledgeable people that I've ever met, with such a fierce dedication to his work, family and life, but he was so very humble as well. His optimism was infectious and I will miss laughing with him.  I've lost a mentor and feel like we've all lost a beautiful person that genuinely made this world better for everyone.

I'll sincerely miss our conversations, email exchanges and most of all, our friendship.

I am so sorry for your loss!! I remember Kit when hanging with Amy and Allison- he was always kind! Many hugs and may your memories give you some comfort💗

Chris was a beautiful man. He was so kind and gentle. He was brilliant and witty. He was so encouraging and helpful. We had wonderful moments together. My favorite memory was when we went to San Diego for a conference and had excellent service and food at Grant Hotel. We then stayed at the Gaslamp Hotel and they had a rooftop terrace overlooking all Downtown San Diego. We later had a wonderful meal at Prado near the San Diego Museum that we visited that day, which also had an outdoor sculpture garden with one of his favorite artists, Henry Moore. I will cherish him forever and will deeply miss him.

This warm and gentle man entered our lives through Saddleback Church while hosting a small group study in our home.  He and wife Sun brought joy, transparency and compassion to our discussions as we sought to grow in Christian faith.  Their different backgrounds and personalities confirmed our unity as brothers and sisters in Christ.  It was a delight to learn from and with them.
May the Lord bring comfort and  reflection to those who grieve. Seems Chris would have wanted us to be grateful.....he often reminded us of our blessings ....    (See  Numbers 6:23, the Bible)

Chris is one of the most memorable people I will ever be lucky enough to have met. He had a perspective on life that more people should adopt. He was all about GSD! (And then kick up your feet and enjoy life) He was kind, supportive, dedicated to his craft and an amazing mentor to me. I loved him for his outspoken, to-the-point, and brutally honest candor. I will miss our regular calls. I will miss laughing with him. Without him, professionally, a feel like a sailor without a compass. I will miss him dearly. And I will think of him most often and indefinitely.
