It was sad to learn last week that Eleanor is gone.  She and I were friends for some 73 years, having met when we were both seventh-graders at McKinley School in Burlingame, and later we were classmates at Burlingame High School.  I will sadly miss her messages that kept us in touch for all these years.  My condolences to the family.
