Married to his loving wife Justine for 62 yrs. Survived by his three children: Jeffery, Suzanne and Christine; his five grandchildren and three great-grand children. Born in Santa Paula-raised in Laguna Beach. Starred in Football at Laguna H.S and Santa Ana J.C. He lettered in 7 different sports. Founder of "The Newport Mesa Halfway House" in 1975. In 2007 The Harold and Justine Richards Foundation was formed to keep "The Anaheim House" going indefinitely. Through the years his house has helped hundreds of alcoholics achieve sobriety. The Anaheim House was the first recovery house in Costa Mesa, providing a path for alcoholics to recover and lead a sober life with dignity and direction through the program of Alcoholics Anonymous.
