You were loved by everyone that you met.  Such a warm heart.  We'll miss you deeply Aunt Inge.
Our first correspondence was through the mail.  You were our long lost Aunt whom we we heard so much about and craved to meet.  I was so excited when I opened your first letter.  You were more kind than I imagined which you expressed even in the letter that you wrote.  One of those memories that I will remember forever.

Oma used to make us French toast in the morning. It was amazing. We would walk up and down the streets of Huntington Beach to look at all of the stores. There was one Christmas were Oma and aunt Audrey came and it was a great Christmas. We got a lot of chocolate. I’m going to really really miss Oma we all loved her so so much❤️

We are all saddened at the passing of Inge. She was a fantastic grandmother and mother in-law. She had an amazing memory and everyday you were with her she would wake up and tell you who’s birthday today was or what event happened 50 years ago on that day. I’ll always think of her making French toast for my kids each morning we would visit her in Ft Wayne.  She completely changed my perspective of warfare with her stories from the German side of WWII and what it was like to live with daily bombings and an uncertain future.  We’ve lost a great storyteller but take comfort in knowing she’s with Wilhelm and we will continue to think of them both often.
