James B. Harris Jr., born on April 13, 1944 passed away on October 23, 2011 at the age of 67. He is survived by the love of his life, Sandra, his wife of 47 years; 5 children; daughters, Kimberlee, Kristin, Kathryn and Kelsey; son, Jimmy; and 8 grandchildren. Born in Nebraska to his parents James and Rose Harris. Jim, most commonly known as Coach Harris, was a teacher and a basketball coach, not only as an occupation but also in life. His ability to open his heart to all that needed comfort or guidance was one of his biggest attributes. He lived honestly and faithful to God everyday of his life. There are no words to describe how much he will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held on November 13 at 2pm at Ocean View High School.
