It’s almost as cool as he was… ❤️

A lot of people called Jimmie nino , but I’m proud to say he was my real nino. I’m sure he was impressionable in many people’s lives as he was to mine , he and my sister Emily took me to my first angel game and look what that led to ….!!!! Also he taught me how to tie my first fishing knot which created another monster. But I guess you can also say he gave me my first job …. When he and my sister would go on a date my father used to make them take me and he would pay me to be quiet 😂😂😂.. lots of love for ever and RIP JIMMIE 

There are so many wonderful things about Jimmie Sr.  He was the first example of a great father, husband, grandfather, uncle etc that I had ever seen. I am truly blessed that my daughter had him as her grandfather. He treated me with nothing but respect for the length of time I knew him and for that I am also blessed.  He will be missed by so many. We will always carry your memory in our hearts 🤍

My papa truly was the best man around. No one compares to him. I’m so thankful to have him in my life. He always guided me in the right direction and always made sure I was set up for success. He wanted nothing less for his family. I am going to miss watching him repair stuff for hours until he gets it right, going to miss watching him sew and tailor clothes, and especially going to miss his hilarious one-liners. My papa was one of a kind and there’s no one that can ever replace him. I know he’ll be at every event or special occasion right by our sides in spirit. I can’t wait to make more memories with him and my family one day when we are all together again. I love you Papa❤️I’ll see you soon. 

Nino was the kind of man we should all try to be as a person, he was a hard working, supportive, loving, encouraging, honest, and a God loving husband, father, grandpa, and of course as most of us know him nino.  He set the example by his actions  but was always there if you needed some words of encouragement. Nino we will never forget you. You have left such a positive impression and great example for all of us here to live by. Thank you for being the best nino anyone could ever have,  

Jimmy was always around while I grew up with Helena. He was probably the most supportive grandpa I’d ever met. I don’t think he ever missed a single one of our softball games, and was always pushing everyone to do their best. Jimmy was like my softball grandpa and was always so fun and light hearted. He always had such a great sense of humor and a kind heart. He will forever live in our hearts and he will be dearly missed. I’m so Thankful I got to know Jimmy, and I’m glad helena and the rest of the Gonzales family got to experience all the years they had with such a wonderful human. Sending all my love to the Gonzales family❤️ 

Our condolences to the Gonzales families, Jimmie was a great person always willing to help out with families and friends. Was very quiet but a good listener to talk too! He will be miss dearly but not forgotten. Our Lord takes the best! Until we meet again  Rest In Peace 💔😢🙏 The Alcantara - Gasporra family
