Lien Thi Nguyen

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lien Thi Nguyen, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who left us on February 23, 2025, at the age of 80 in Orange, California.

Lien was born on May 5, 1944, in Nam Dinh, Vietnam. She lived a full and loving life, with a heart that was kind, strong, and full of love. Lien attended school until the eighth grade and devoted herself to raising a beautiful family as a homemaker. She was the proud mother of five children and cherished every moment spent with them. Lien had a deep love for singing, and her beautiful voice was a joy to all who heard it.

A woman of great strength, beauty, honesty, and kindness, Lien’s legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her. Her love and warmth were a constant source of comfort to those around her. Lien is survived by her sons: Trend Tran, Thanh Tran, Mai Tran, Duong Pham, and Gian Bui; her sister, Mary Nguyen; her sisters-in-law, Huyen Nguyen and Van Pham; her grandchildren, Kevin Tran, Kelsie Tran, and Nga Pham; and one great-grandchild. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westminster Memorial Park Main Chapel. A church service will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 7:00 AM at St. Columban Catholic Church in Garden Grove, followed by a graveside service at the Westminster Memorial Park Resurrected Savior Garden.

Lien's memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever. May she rest in peace.
