

Linda Blanche Lundy passed away on January 22, 2026, in Mission Viejo, California. She was born on May 24, 1939, in the City of Orange, California, where her life and deep connection to Orange County began.
Linda attended school in the Newport Harbor area and went on to live a life defined by hard work, love for family, and a sharp sense of humor. She began her career as a waitress, where her quick wit and friendly personality left lasting impressions, and later worked for the United States Post Office, where she was known for her dedication and reliability.
Linda married Allen Kay, who they had four children together. She met at Allen at the Orange County Fair. He was an important part of her life.
She was the proud mother of four children and a devoted dog owner to Kiesha and Lexi, who were constant companions and a great source of comfort. Linda was known for being funny, loving, and generous, with a quick wit that could light up any room. She cared deeply for her family and was always giving of her time and heart.
Linda loved gardening, traveling, and especially babysitting her grandchildren—moments she truly cherished. Family was at the center of her life, and she created lasting memories filled with laughter and love.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Kay; her father, Theo Martin; and her mother, Pearl Martin.
Linda is survived by her son, Brett Kay; her daughter, Lisa Kay; her son, Lonnie Kay; her sister, Deanna Read; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Westminster Memorial Park, Main Chapel. A service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Main Chapel, officiated by Pastor Rich Baker.
Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Park, Garden of Meditation.
Linda Blanche Lundy will be remembered for her humor, generosity, and the deep love she had for her family.
