Dovalis, Nicholas John, was born on August 20th, 1921 in Tulsa, OK and died peacefully in his home on October 10th 2010 in Anaheim, CA at the age of 89. Nicholas is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Lillian; 5 daughters Marina, Penny (Harry), Crystal (Steve), Joanna (George), Nikki (Bob); 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and their dedicated spouses.
The family wishes to express deep gratitude to Fernando and Sara Hernandez, along with several of his devoted grandchildren and others who cared for him day and night throughout his last years. Services to be held at St. John Greek Orthodox Church at 405 N. Dale Ave. Anaheim, CA. Trisagion (wake) is Friday, October 14th at 7:00 p.m. followed by reception. Funeral is Saturday October 15th 11:00 a.m. followed by the makaria (lunch) and burial.
