Ruth Catherine Newman, 90, of Yorba Linda, California, passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving family. Ruth is survived by her 3 daughters, Ruth (Jim) Littlejohn, Kathleen Lamb, Susan (Curt)Tarver, her Daughter in Law Jodi Lamb, her sister Marian Houchins, and her sister-in-law Annette Gabel, as well as 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her late husband William Newman, and her son, Thomas F. Lamb.
Ruth was a business owner who owned and operated several sandwich shops in Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and La Mirada. She was also an avid bowler who bowled in tournaments, and even appeared on television.
She loved her family and liked to spend time with them as often as possible. As well as he was a loving Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Best Friend. Ruth will be missed and remembered fondly by those who knew her.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Westminster Memorial Park on Friday, October 4th at 11:00 am. 14801 Beach Blvd. Westminster , CA . Under the direction of Westminster Memorial Park Mortuary. FD1030
