

Bill Jenkins was an audio file speaker design expert; his designs were used at NASA and Boeing. His expertise and knowledge were used in other applications in the military industrial complex. His BBI Speakers were installed in countless venues in Los Angeles like Royce Hall, Casino's in Las Vegas. He built speaker cabinets for many of the major touring sound companies and his subwoofer designs are in many famous recording studios in Los Angeles. He mixed live sound for many acts, bringing joy to thousands of people though his uncompromising passion for great audio reproduction.
Bill was a decorated military veteran receiving a Purple Heart for his services in the Vietnam War as well as a letter of commendation written by his commanding officer for Bill’s ability to repair his units communication equipment and radio out for back up while under fire, saving his units lives.
Known as “BJ” to many friends and associates but was best known as “Uncle Bill” to those who loved him most. He is preceded in Death by parents Carl & Galdys Jenkins, brothers Edgar & Carl and sisters Caroline, Henrietta, Faye, Joyce & Judie. He is survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
