Was good to see Arvid a couple weeks before his passing, it seemed he was his old self. Talking about lambs, and chickens, and of course fainting goats. I bought a fainting goat from Arvid once at the Weyburn Auction, I too had alot of fun with it.( i just couldn't leave it there) Great memories!!! About 3 years ago, Arvid gave us 4 bantam chickens, and now we have about 20. and into looking at other exotic breeds. What a friend!!
Wish all the family well, and we know you will have fond memories for ever, as we all do.

Our dear Levonne and family,

You are so much in our thoughts since hearing of Arvid's passing. I know you will be lonely but I hope you feel waves of comfort as the many scattered around the world, like myself, loved Arvid and are thinking about you especially these days. We are thankful that he kept faith and left an inspiring influence.

From early childhood, I have memories of being at your farm. I remember the warm welcome that we always experienced. Years have passed and many things have changed but we are grateful that the Gospel has not changed and it continues to bring peace and comfort right to the end. Arvid experienced that, didn't he?

May you and your family know deep comfort and peace these days. With love from, Mabel Jacobs

This is the last time I saw Uncle. He said the ‘grace’ at Uncle Franks’ 80th Birthday! What he said left a big impression on my heart! His deep gratitude for God has been an encouragement to me over the years.
May you all find comfort during this sad time.

I have some very good memories of my time at the Arvid Thue house. Times of fellowship with Arvid and Levonne is to this day a great inspiration to me. Getting up early in the morning at their home and finding Arvid reading his bible and praying to his God sharing things with me that were an encouragement to him was rich and will always be an inspiring memory for me. A big man humbling himself before God. No small thing, but it is the thing that makes his passing victory. Arvid will be missed by all (me included) and especially by Levonne and his family. He lived for this day and now we rejoice with him. Thoughts and prayer go to you Levonne and the family. ........ lloyd kneesch

Grammazoo Exotics would not be if Uncle Arvid never had the interesting creatures he did! Loved going to visit and see what new critter was at his place. He would love to talk about, what sale he had been at and what critter he had found!
Never have had the luck he did on having peacocks roaming the yard!
