

Brian was predeceased by his parents, Mariette and Marcel Buydens; brother, Edward Buydens and brothers-in-law, Earl Lee and Ken Bocking.
Reverend Brian David Paul Buydens was born October 27, 1962 at Russell MB. He grew up in Dauphin MB. Brian rose from a childhood in poverty by intellect, hard work and heart. Finishing Grade XII in Hudson Bay SK, he attended University of Saskatchewan where he met a girl with the same birthday, who became his wife, Norma, in 1984. Brian held degrees in Computers, Mathematics and Education. He was teaching high school in 1989 when he became a father to Stephanie Marie, then went on to work for many years in Information Technology. His son, Adrien Paul was born in 1997. Brian was blessed with granddaughter, Kai Robin in 2022. He was a multilingual, multi-instrumentalist and extremely gifted with his hands. After moving to Weyburn in 2011, Brian became a Warden, then a Deacon, and was ordained a Priest in 2023.
Brian will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Norma Buydens of Weyburn, SK; daughter, Stephanie Buydens of Weyburn, SK; son, Adrien Buydens of Weyburn, SK; granddaughter, Kai Buydens; sister, Linda Lee Humboldt, SK as well as many nieces, nephews and beloved cousins.
The Memorial Service for Brian will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Helen Kennedy, Bishop of Fort Qu'Appelle celebrating.
Honourary Pallbearers will be Erskine Sandiford, Mildred Sandiford, Ron Kittelson, Yvonne Kittelson, Brian Belinsky and Richard Kondra. Interment will be announced at a later date.
Donations in memory of Brian may be made to Liver Canada, Weyburn Humane Society or Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
