Ernie was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Martha Heggs; Cathy’s parents, Fred and Maryanne Mytopher; grandparents, Ernie and Alma Heggs and Emelina Kemper.
Ernie will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Cathy Heggs and her children,Tanya Howse, Whitney (Jesse) Chamberlain & their children, Tristan, Ryder, Blake and Emma; Courtney Howse (Jarrod) and Dan Howse (Misty); sister, Emily (Ken) Jasper, brother, Roger Heggs, sister, Lois (Brian) Adam and brother, Larry (Della) Heggs as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Ernie will also be missed by his loyal companions, his two dogs, Tess and Lily.
A Private Celebration of Ernie's Life was held at Fletcher Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 20th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Christine Burton officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
