Gwen is survived by her children, Carol (Keith) Dreger of Lang, SK and their children, Stacy (Cindy) and their children, Solomon and Eden, Aaron (Pam) and their daughter, Kylie; Larry (Adele) Schmidt of Lang, SK, Warren (Arlene) Schmidt of Watson, SK and their sons, Adam (Alyssa) and their daughters, Danica and Ava, Trevor (Kara) their children, Abby and Kaden, Travis (Victoria) her children, Akasha and Eric; Daryl (Val) Schmidt of Lang, SK and their children, Voni (Brent) Babcock and their children, Kayla, Kendal, Kianna and Wyatt, Jamie (Duane) Treleaven and their children, Ireland, Cody and Chance, Crystal (Brady) Westling and their children, Austin, Faith and Conor Westling, Michael (Norma) Saip and their children, Shayne and Hunter, Angela Saip; sister, Mae Ruth Domes; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lou (Helen) Schmidt, Paul (Joyce) Schmidt, Norman (Olga) Schmidt, Theresa Diekrager, Evelyn (Dale) Heiberg and Doug Calloway.

Gwen was predeceased by her parents, Thomas & Ruby Mitchell; her husband, Roy Schmidt; her sister, Ethel Mitchell; brother-in-law, Ed Domes; granddaughter, Brandi Panasiuk; parents-in-law, John and Anna Schmidt, sisters-in-law, Mildred Winkler and Catherine Calloway and brothers-in-law, Robert in infancy, Edward Winkler and Robert Diekrager.

Prayers will be said Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 7:00 PM from Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, Saskatchewan. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from Lang Hall, Lang ,Saskatchewan will Father Gerry Bauche Celebrating. Interment to follow at a late date in Lang Cemetery, Lang, Saskatchewan.
