I have known Jack in 2022 and we didn’t stay together very long but I have known his love to the deepest. I just learnt his passing and I am truly saddened, I didn’t think he would leave us so soon and I thought we had more time. He was one of the very few best friends I have ever had. I know he wasn’t close to his sister, I tried to convince him to get back together and meet her, I hope he had the chance to reconnect with her before his passing. Family is precious. He showed me so many places, his love was real and I will cherish it for the rest of my life.

Mike and Jack were best buddies growing up ..a lot of memories were made. A lot of mischief,too! 
 I worked with Jack a short while. He was always cheerful, ,always joking around. 
  He was well known in Weyburn and a large part of the community.
RIP Jack! You will be missed.

Condolences to all of Jacks family.  He was our favourite neighbour who would do literally anything for you.  We were thankful to return the favour in his last years living on Laing Cresent.  Rest easy Jack❤️❤️

To all of Jack's family, our sincerest condolences on the passing of your loving family member.  We have known Jack since we were teenagers back in the 60's.  Always a great guy, whom we enjoyed having many conversations with, from times at the Weyburn Coliseum where his beloved Weyburn Red Wings played their hearts out to all their devoted fans!  Jack was a constant fixture in that rink, as well as at the Meat Market on 2nd St, if memory serves us right, and many years later at Janke's Meats, to meeting him at the Zippy Mart where he was waiting to catch the bus to Regina, and everywhere he worked at and hungout at in between!  Jack was a real gem, with a great sense of humor, and hosted the 'occasional' party...well, maybe a little more than just occasionally!  Fly high and RIP Jack, and we hope to meet up with you when we earn our wings, too!

It is so weird .  Two nights ago Jack came into my mind…kibitzing with him at Janie’s Meat Shop or at the Red Wing Games!  He was a great guy, totally!

So sorry to hear about Jacks passing!  He was one of the first persons to make me feel welcome when I moved here over 30 years ago.  His acts of kindness were very gratefully appreciated when he worked at Janke’s Meat Shop.     That kindness turned into a friendship!  From all the popcorn he would bring to my work and all the great Friday bar closing meals that he cooked and shared with the entire Dillingers Crew this man showed me what community was all about!   He never asked for a single thing!  Rest easy now Jack, your work here is now done but you will never ever be forgotten!
