James "Jim" Ritchard Porter

Jim was predeceased by his parents, Horace & Mildred Porter; grandson, Robert Linn; brother, Stanley; nephews, Johnny Desjardins and David Anderson and his brothers in law, Roger Desjardins and Hans Anderson.

He is survived by his son, Barry (Linda) Porter of Enderby, BC; son, Darrell (Lori) Porter of Acme, AB; daughter, Karen (Greger) Porter of Ladysmith, BC; daughter, Bonny (Dan) Linn of Lethbridge, AB; daughter, Marjory (Jim) Porter of Victoria, BC; daughter, Shelly (Darren) Porter-Serviss of Calgary, AB; daughter, Valerie (Doug) Porter of Edmonton, AB; former wife, Dorothy Porter of Camrose, AB; 10 grandchildren, Bonnie, Kelly, Steven, Max, Jeremy, Emily, Michael, Zachary, Carden and Owen; and his great grandchild, Thomas.

Surviving siblings, Dorothy Desjardins and family of Edson, AB; Carlene Anderson and family of Shellbrook, SK; Fern (Marino) Vanin and family of Shellbourne, ON; and Tom (Shirley) Porter and family of Carrot Creek, AB; and his loving companion Alverna Berger of Weyburn.
