My deepest condolences to Kelt’s kin. I was distressed to hear of Kelt’s passing. He and I had been friends from kindergarten. While he and I lost touch in adulthood I assumed his pursuits would be consistent with what I’m reading here. It sound like as a man, Kelt was as affable and gregarious as when we were kids. Everyone liked Kelt. It sounds like he built a beautiful life in a beautiful place with a beautiful family. That warms my heart. I remember his laugh. Despite not having seen Kelt in almost 20 years, I can remember his laugh. Seeing this many familiar names posting here from his and my early years compelled me to be so audacious as to add my own memory too. To those in Kelt’s contemporary world; please know I’m deeply saddened to my core to learn of his departure. It’s all so unjust.

I was very sad to hear this news. I went to school with Kelt from kindergarten until grade 6 at Sam Livingston in Calgary and while I haven’t seen him since, I thought of him many times throughout the years, Kelt was and always will be a very memorable presence . Love and condolences to his wife, sons and family. I am very sorry for your loss.

I was very sad to hear the news of Kelt’s passing. I knew Kelt in elementary school and also in junior high when I lived in Calgary. Although we lost touch when I moved away after Grade 8 (1990), I have nothing but nice memories of him, including when we played street hockey in Lake Bonavista. He was always well-liked by everyone.

I’m attaching a photo of our Grade 5 class.

My deepest condolences to his family.

To the McManus Family:

I first met Kelt while he worked at the Canalta and I at the Ramada. Later he was always a bounty of knowledge at Old Fashioned Foods.

He was always smiling and lending a helping hand. He was such a kind and generous soul and will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Kelt was a very kind man who love the Lord, he wasn't ashamed to say it..Kelt was the kind of man that would shout it from the mountain top. That is what I remembered about Kelt. I truly appreciated that about him. You will truly be missed
