Leann was predeceased by her mother, Dene Temple, sister, Brenda Temple, and precious friend, Robert "Bobby" Laidlaw. She is survived by her husband, Patrick, children, Dellas (Shiloh) Poncelet, Chell (Natasha) Doud, Andie (Jeff) Littlejohn, and Whitney Doud; her grandchildren, Niklas and Hannah Poncelet, Walker, Colter, Katie, and Rachel Doud, Alex and Thomas Littlejohn, and Cruz and Carter Debruyne; her brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Temple, Greg (Tara) Temple, Blair (Susan) Temple, Darwin (Carol) Temple, and Troy (Melinda) Temple; and her dear papa, Donald (Doreen) Temple. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Leann was a cherished member of many communities, including Gladmar, Lake Alma, Beaubier, Maxim, and Radville. Her strength, work ethic, and sense of humour were undeniable. Leann worked hard and loved hard. When she wasn’t working one of her many jobs, helping Patrick with the farm, or feeding hunters and gravel crews, she could often be found in the company of good friends. Leann was an excellent ball player, hockey player, and poker player, and was as fun-loving as she was competitive. The door was always open and coffee was always on in the Doud house—and often Leann could be found in the kitchen, bringing family, friends, and neighbours together for a delicious meal. Leann was an especially amazing grandma who loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in the world.
Leann was a woman of faith, and even during hard times her resilience and positive attitude was something to be admired. Most of all, Leann loved her Patrick with all her heart—he was her favourite person and the great love of her life. Leann was a beautiful soul—witty, kind, smart, and tough—and she will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. from the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Radville, Saskatchewan with Father Thuy Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow the lunch in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Maxim, Saskatchewan.
