Michael was predeceased by his parents, Frank, Jr and Cecile (Vargo) Chanig and nephews, Chris Collens, Jerald Chanig and Richard Smith.
Michael will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Lorraine Chanig and her children, daughter, Laurel (Roger) and family; son, Brian (Lynda) and family; son, Trevor (Lori) and family; Mike’s children; sons, Cory Chanig and Cal Chanig; daughters, Michelle Chanig & her family and Krystal Chanig and her family; sisters, Shirley (Lee) Collins and Vicky (Bill) Sanchuck; brothers, David (Lorna) Chanig and Jerry (Ev) Chanig as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & nieces and nephews.
At the request of Michael & his family, cremation has taken place and a Private Family Inurnment will be held at a later date.
