We always called Ron,Josh as kids.Ron's mother was my foster aunt as my grandparents Joseph and Mary Huntley took aunt Madeline(Peggy)in after her mother died when aunt Madeline(Peggy) was a baby. My mother Georgie (Huntley)Jess became her sister and loved aunt Madeline(Peggy) with her whole heart. We as kids called Ron, Josh and his sister Mary. However
when uncle Clifford and aunt Madeline(Peggy) visited my parents shortly after my wife Linda I got married they would speak about Ronnie,Mary ,Josh and Chris when talking about their children.Linda said to me,I thought you said uncle Clifford and aunt Madeline had two children and I replied they do. She said no they must have four because they always are saying Josh and Ronnie did this and Mary and Chris did this or that. So I explained to her that sometimes they would call them by their first or middle names depending to whom they were talking to but I had to assure her that there were only two children all together and I had to get uncle Clifford and aunt Madeline to explain it to her as well. Perhaps she thought I was a bit confused over the names as well. All is well now as to who is who when we look at all the pictures we have of uncle Clifford aunt Madeline or Peggy,Josh or Ron,Mary or Chris. We still have a few laughs over the whole wonderful experience.
Lots of Love to all of Ron's family,he will always be Josh to me though.Very sorry to hear of him passing away. Please take comfort that is sleeping in death and will be awakened in the resurrection.
