Terrance "Terry" Jerome Fister

Terry was predeceased by his parents, Melvin & Tillie Fister; brother, Lester Fister and sister in law, Sandy Fister.

Terry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Valerie Fister of Weyburn, SK; daughter, Tammie (Barton) Kwochka of Weyburn, SK; son, Lonnie Fister of Weyburn, SK; daughter, Tobi Fister of Regina, SK; son, Kelly Fister of Hume, SK; grandchildren, Kayla Fister, Alecia Kwochka, Lane Fister (Jill Bellarmino), Tyson Fister, Tiana Fister, Mitchell Fister, Zachary Fister, Dylan Staple, great grandchildren, Kade Kwochka, Taelynn Kwochka and Paisley Jenkins; honorary daughter, Sarah (Elias) Regines of Weyburn, SK and their children, Galilee (Mark) & Azl, Shem and Hue; brother, Calvin Fister; sister, Shirley (Warren) Ulmer; sister in law, Nicole Fister as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Terry’s work included long haul trucking, mixed farming, custom combining, construction & renovations and sales. He loved people purposeful listening, lending a hand, making a difference and he was loved by them. Terry loved God, believed in His promises and in the work of His Saviour Jesus Christ. He shared his faith in action and sometimes words, and he left this earth in quiet dignity and completely at peace, as he lost his battle with cancer.

Terry’s presence among us is missed: his quick wit, gentle humor and his joy in everyday living. He is loved and our memories of him cherished.

A viewing was held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9:00 am ~ 10:30 am at the Church of Christ, Weyburn, Saskatchewan and the Funeral Service followed Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Church of Christ, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with John Smith officiating. Interment was in Harptree Clearview Cemetery, Harptree, Saskatchewan.
