Alan grew up in the Greeley area and worked as a salesman for American Pride, now known as Agfinity, for 24 years. He truly enjoyed his work and took great pride in helping his clients. As a teenager, Alan had a love for his Buick Riviera, played in the high school band, worked as a cook at a local restaurant, and enjoyed antiquing with his longtime friend, Tom.
Throughout his life, Alan was known for his heart of gold and incredible sense of humor. In his later years, he was lovingly cared for by his devoted caretaker and friend, Robert, and supported by a longtime friend from Greeley, whose presence and help brought him comfort during his final days.
Alan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sister, Judith K. Brungardt (Bret) of Chino Valley, AZ; his children, Amanda Mitchell and Chad Mitchell, both of Greeley; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and his beloved aunt, Betty (Virgil) Lieuallen.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and several dear friends who now welcome him in Heaven.
