It is with heavy heart to announce our mother, Alice Yuan’s, unexpected passing on February 16, 2020. She is survived by her father, Jia-Tzu Yeh; her sister, Kimiko Watanabe (and family); her brothers, Shio C Yeh (and family) and Shubun Wada (and family); her spouse, Ghen Yuan; her four daughters, Kristine Yuan, Emily Yuan, Stella Yuan, Tiffany Yuan; six grandchildren Aiden Grider, Madison Saechao, Avery Saechao, Ethan Saechao, Gavin Grider, and Teagan Grider; two son-in-law Adrian Saechao and Tsim Chang; and many other family members. She is preceded in death by her mother, Yu-Yin Yeh; father-in-law, Chi Ya Yuan; mother-in-law, Kyoko Tsukamoto; and son-in-law, Michael Grider.
Raised in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan she was the oldest of four siblings with a younger sister and two younger brothers. At age 18, her family came to the States and settled in Los Angeles, CA where she eventually met her husband and started her family with soon to be four daughters. She and her family moved to Colorado in 1992 and she eventually found her home in Littleton, CO. She helped run a restaurant business with her spouse for 15 years and always with a kind smile she served in the restaurant business for 40 plus years. Hardworking and humble she always supported her family. Using cooking skills taught by her parents, she cooked meals to bring our family together and to provide everlasting memories. Very detail oriented, she shined in time consuming projects such as knitting and stitching that she was able to enjoy in the very little time she had. Always looking out for others: her smile, her laugh, her simplistic outlook on life will truly be missed.
