Anna M. Cox Thompson

Anna was 99, living in Littleton, Colorado when she went home to heaven. She was born July 15, 1915 in Pompton Lakes, NJ, child of Anna & David Cox. She is survived by her children: Gary & Fran Thompson & Pat Eckhardt; her Grandchildren: Pat, Walt, Steve, Mark, Marie, Deanna & Jeff; her Great-Grandchildren: Heather, Laura, Allen, Chase, Ava, Madeline, & a Baby-girl expected in Nov; and a Great-Great Granddaughter Alina; her sister, Marion, and many nieces & nephews. Welcoming Anna into heaven are her husband Grove, 4 sisters and most recently her Grandson Ryan. Anna loved our Lord and lived her life by showing His Love to all, especially her family. Anna blessed so many lives, crocheted so many hats for the homeless even up until the beginning of this year. She was an amazing woman and will be missed by us all.

A Memorial service is planned for Sunday October 5, 2014, 2pm, at her church Mountain View Community Church, 3939 W. Florida Ave, Denver, CO 80129. Additionally, an alternate service is being held on Friday, October 3, 2014, 2pm, in the main dining room on the 2nd floor at Cherrelyn Health Care Center, 5555 S. Elati St. Littleton, CO 80120. It will be held for her CHC friends & CHC staff and those who are unable to attend the main service on Sunday.

To honor Anna’s memory, in lieu of flowers, her family has requested donations go to Hana’s Hope, 229 W Littleton Blvd, Littleton, CO 80120. Hana’s Hope provides free wigs to needy Cancer patients, especially children.
